Whether you are staying in the Yarra Valley or Melbourne, our expert local guides will host you for an entertaining and informative day sampling the fruits of the valley. Private winery tours of the Yarra Valley for up to 6 guests will be picked up in a modern Mercedes Van and driven to some of our favourite spots including some of the hidden gems of the valley. Whether you are a fan of true cool-climate varietals or prefer sweeter wine and bubbles we can tailor a package to suit your tastes. We can also include tastings at Distilleries and Breweries or perhaps a visit to world-class attractions such as Healesville Sanctuary and Puffing Billy!

We can offer your group a variety of lunch options to suit every budget. Or pre-book lunch where your group would like to dine.

Visit Four Pillars Gin: Sample three of their most popular Gins: The Bloody Shiraz, Navy Strength and Rare Dry Gin.

Visit Innocent Bystander: Enjoy their famous “Metre of Awesome” which is literally a metre-long share board filled with cheese, meats, olives and everything that is good! Each platter to be shared between 2 people.

Yes! Private tours can cater for any group size or dynamic and we can organise an itinerary to suit your family.

Absolutely! We’ll suggest some of our favourite venues of wineries that we think will be of interest but we are open to your suggestions. We can also recommend a range of lunch venues to suit every budget and taste.

Yes! We can pick you up and drop you off anywhere around Melbourne or the Yarra Valley. The Yarra Valley is an approx 1-hour drive from Melbourne.

Private tour 2 to 6 guests:
$490 (midweek)
$590 (weekends and public holidays)

Private Tour 7 -11 guests:
$790 (midweek)
$890 (weekends and public holidays)

Prices do not include tasting fees (budget $10 per person per venue) or lunch which can be paid directly to the venue on the day.

Private Tour

Craig picked us up from the Melbourne airport (saved us hiring a car) and spent the next two days showing us some the wine gems of the Yarra Valley. We left our private tour in his hands, knowing that local knowledge is more valuable than ours, given the number of wineries and places to eat in the Yarra. We were delighted with his choices and couldn’t recommend The Yarra Valley Touring Company enough. Absolutely professional and great fun. Then he took us back to the airport- so easy. Group favourite for all was Dominique Porte winery for wine and food, but many others were not far behind.
